+1

I can't even remember the last time I posted something that didn't suck.

I'm eagerly looking forward to +2!

BTW, this isn't the last thing you posted, and it certainly didn't suck, but do you mind if I publish it in a zine?

I have nothing better to do with my time than recycle all my old blog posts in print form, you see...

Um, sure.

I really think you need another hobby. I definitely need another hobby - I might take up knitting.

Consider yourself published.

You bring joy to my life...blah blah yawn - and I checked, it kinda did suck. Also, words alone do not give quite the measure of sarcasm that was intended.

TimT said...

Maybe give it a decorative image, ie, myself gouging my own eyes out with a spoon or something like that, to entertain the readers?

Shelley said...

I suspect the bulk of the sarcasm wasn't actually being directed at you. How does it feel to be a pawn?

Oh, I see, your ambition is to be, like, the "anti-suck" blog?

Well, aren't we the uppity one.

Very aspirational.

I knit.

Takes me years to finish plain ordinary rugs, and we're talking 5 to 7 years a stretch.

Yet, like a demented person, I persist.

Should have taken up basket weaving. Bet it would only take me four years to complete a basket.

I suspect that I oughn't have mentioned that to Tim. Oh well.

Not really 'anti-suck', Caz, but a bit less all-the-time-suck-full.

My mum knits a bit like that. She has about five centimeters of something that she's been working on [and mostly off] since 1986. Since it turns out that I am DOOOMED to be just like her I may as well take it up - assuming that I can co-ordinate my hands...

Caz said...

Oh, coordinated hands aren't especially necessary.

When knitting at a snail's pace one can safely have one's hands flailing about and still succeed at completing very little knitting.

It's comforting to know that your mother takes longer to complete her knitting tasks than I do.

I agree, I think you are DOOMED, so you may as well get out there and buy some wool and knitting needles.

I took up knitting a couple of years ago, and find it to be very zen. I only knit squares since that is the extent of my knowledge. Scarves for everyone!
