I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep.

Ever since I saw Sicko I've had 59th Street Bridge Song playing on low rotation in my head. It keeps popping up unexpectedly and I keep humming it - badly.
Also owing to that movie is my newfound desire to learn French and to move to France. I am now wondering if it is possible to find a French man who quite likes really quite un-chic, plain, fat women. Probably not. It's quite a hard thing to do here in that land that created bogan.

French? It would be great to read de Beauvoir in the original French, but imagine having conversations with French people. You'd never get a word in.

Hmm, it has come to my attention that I may have a) used the word 'French' too many times in that comment (sorry) b) given the impression that I think all French people are rude and overbearing (which isn't true - I just think all the French people I have met were rude and overbearing).

I, personally, would go for a French Canadian, less overbearing and more inclined to love a slightly voluptuous Australian.

If I could get a word in I wouldn't have reason to blog :(
Okay, that wasn't true. Since I do both rude and overbearing quite well [arrogant too, on occasion] I rather think I'd do alright, Mark.

Do French Canadians speak English with a French accent or a Canadian one? If the latter we could be in some trouble, jahteh. Who was after love? I was thinking practicalities - passports and the like

Really? I saw Sicko and it confirmed that I didn't want to live in France. Obviously, I'd like their benefits but I just don't think I'd be capable of fitting into that culture.
