I want to make my living space less, er, really fucking hideous. I want to beautify etc etc.

Question: is it wrong to buy things and then co-opt one's car-ed up friends for the purposes of retrieving said item/s?

Is it, isn't it? I wonder how much they love me?

Just bribe them with alcohol, or, if you don't want to waste your precious drink resources on them, flavoured turpentine. Perfectly ethical.

I'm not sure alcohol would do it actually. I'm talking sizable furniture and three flights of stairs amongst other things.

Oh but it's pretty though.

It's perfectly fine. I always do it to my friends and they don't really seem to mind. The girls seem to be easily pleased by strolling around Ikea for a couple hours, and the guys will do the heavy lifting for a 6-pack of fancy beer.

I got one friend to help me move house - couch, queen sized bed, ridiculously heavy tv down three flights of stairs. I bought him dinner and a movie, all was fine. (I think)
