Firestarter to Sabotage

I started my day with Firestarter, courtesy of a neighbour who lacked and who thought playing The Prodigy at 10am was okay. It wasn't. I had Firestarter stuck in my head and I had to listen to it again and again. Yeah, thanks.

Blessings the divine ipod for music storing capabilities. I love being able to exorcise tunes out of my head by repeatedly playing them until I vomit.

I currently have Sabotage stuck in my head and in my ears owing to a poorly named blog post. Well, either it was poorly named or it was a cunning attempt to annoy everyone by getting The Beastie Boys stuck in our heads. Yeah, thanks.

Can anyone tell me the awesome German word that has something to do with the last song you hear being stuck in your head?

'Nails of the Beast' would make quite a good band name.

Almost biblical.

It would have to be somewhat satanic if I were involved. I am somewhat lacking in any musical aptitude.

Also, can we be the support act for the Beasts of Bourbon...or just Tex Perkins..?

That second 'somewhat' actually means 'completely'.

i have four words for you: invisible touch by Genesis.

Don't blame me, a friend put it in my head and now i need revenge!

That would be cruel, Dylan, but as I have absolutely no memory for Genesis I get to avoid this one. Ha ha.

It's called an ear-worm in English. Does that help?

Dunno. But I love the German word ahadenfraud. I just thought I'd put that out there.

Do you perhaps mean schadenfreude, Slippy?

Ah, jahteh to the rescue! That's it exactly - Ohrwurm! Sounds really quite revolting (but is very descriptive) however you look at it!

Yes. Sorry. Dur to me.
