Cups of tea.

I need to do something to sort out the quiet desperation. Any suggestions?

Scrabulous is right out of the question. I don't deal with desperation very well, and tend to mope until it eventually goes away, so in short I am not very much help.

Scrabulous helps only with the aching with boredom and then only minorly. I think I may have accidentally moped away some years. This cannot be a good thing.

Make cupcakes and then post them to me?

Post them? I think we live in the same suburb!

Also, I only do traditional baking - all milk and butter :p

Ugh, to literal!

Take up breakdancing. And I agree with Dale, but replace "Dale" with "Daniel" in the equation.

No, Daniel [seems oddly formal but that's your choice], for you I'd make Anzac biscuits. Apparently they travel well and, also, I make a fucking awesome Anzac biscuit.

Oh you are mean. Do we live in the same suburb! That's exciting maybe one day we will fight over the last brownie in the cake shop and then just before one us dies the truth will be revealed and it will be a tragic and beautiful ending.

I'm in Enmore, Dale. I gather that you're in the same region Newtown/Enmore - can't remember, haven't been stalking you that much!

Brownie fight at a cake shop...? I spy a Tim tale.

Oh, hello Enmorian. I'm a Darlinghurstian for another three weeks at least. Myself and a fellow scribblerette will be looking to house ourselves inner-cityly quite soon. Let me know if you see any cottages in your neighbourhood looking for inhabitants. Whenever quiet desperation got me in Erko/Enmore, I'd go into the boutique called "Made" (590 King st) and play with the clever German and Japanese kids' toys. Then I'd roll pastry for a pie.

Mitzi, I am tempted to search Domain for you. I love looking at houses, well, on the internet anyway. I can't think of any for rent at the moment - though there's a few nice ones for sale around here.

Ta, Nails. I've got myself a shortlist and the unusual trick of doing inspections doing the week instead of on Saturdays with the rest of the rentage riffraff.

Hee hee, I went looking anyway - though by accident in the to buys - and have quite ruined a favourite house of mine. I am not sure that I approve of wooden benchtops at all.
